Talent Flow · weekly delta scans

Where the elite engineers go, the capital follows.

Every Monday we scan three streams — talent movement, capital formation, and hiring demand — across twelve sectors, and map what we find to public tickers. This is the full record, including the parts that went nowhere.

Each cell carries the reading its Monday scan filed, and the evidence line behind it.

Weeks before Jul 4, 2026 are retrospective reconstructions of the record and must not be used to backtest signal predictiveness. Per-week evidence text and source links are available in the app.

The Kill-Switch Strip — four scares, zero trips

Four conditions that would falsify the thesis, tracked continuously. None has tripped. Three came close enough to annotate.

Methodology

Each Monday scan reads three independent streams and files a directional call per sector. Nothing here is a model output; every cell traces to a dated, linkable source.

Stream 01
Talent
Layoff filings, named departures, poaching events, public developer-activity indices and job-posting counts. Movement, not headcount totals.
Stream 02
Capital
Every disclosed round of $100M or more, tagged to sector and cross-checked against the filing or the primary announcement.
Stream 03
Demand
Postings, hiring-index prints and capex guidance — the demand side that tells us whether talent movement is pull or push.
Backfill disclosure

The record begins November 3, 2025, but continuous live scanning began Jul 4, 2026. Everything before that date was reconstructed retrospectively from dated primary sources. Reconstructed weeks are drawn at reduced saturation inside a labelled provenance band in every view on this page. Reconstructed scans must not be used to backtest signal predictiveness — they were assembled with knowledge of what followed.

Signal research only — not financial advice. Nexus Alert publishes research on talent and capital movement. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Data as of Aug 3, 2026.
